If you don’t want to wait for a call, press F8 to generate one. If you don’t like the call you have been assigned, you can skip it by pressing F6.
Once you’ve done your part of the job on the scene of a callout: press CONTROL to inform dispatch the scene is cleared / fire is under control, or the victim is being evacuated. This will set your status as available.
To hide/display the callout description window: press I. You can order people to leave the area by pressing N
Here is a list of each callouts,and how to act on each callouts:
- Medical run;
- Pedestrian struck by a vehicle;
- M.V.A;
- Automatic Fire Alarm;
- Residential fire / Commercial Fire / Smoke condition;
- Vehicle fire;
Medical related callouts
The current version of the Firefighter mod include Medical run callouts, that can be run by both: Paramedic and Firefighter.A particular effort have been made on the locations to provide a unique and realistic gameplay. These calls takes place at many different location such as:
- subway stations;
- residential structures;
- commercial structures
- open areas (streets, etc.)
When responding to a Medical run,
you will first have a BLIP added to your in-game HUD radar to indicate you the
street where the victim is. Once you’re close to the location, the BLIP will
then change into a male. Following this new BLIP (on foot) will lead you to the
victim (make sure to read the additional informations you received while responding to know where the victim is).
Once you’re close to the victim,
you can start to treat the patient by using the Victim Treatment System. Make
sure to have the medic bag close to the victim to provide efficient treatment.
Once the paramedics arrive on scene
and start treating the victim, you can quit the Victim Treatment System, to go
get the stretcher on their ambulance, and then place the victim on it, to
transport her to the ambulance. Make sure to be behind the 2 paramedics when
taking the patient to the ambulance.
If you chose to be a paramedic: you
will have to transport the victim to the hospital by yourself. You can also
treat the victim inside the ambulance if it’s not too serious, by pressing F4 when close to the ambulance
(victim must already be inside the ambulance), then if you don’t think it’s
necessary to take the victim to the hospital press F5 in order to release the victim, or CONTROL to take the victim to the hospital).
Automatic Fire Alarm
This callout is only for the
Battalion chief company, and consist of an automatic fire alarm that have been
transmitted by a security company to report a fire, your job is to go on scene,
and actually check if the alarm is false
or true. Sometimes, it will be caused by someone cooking / smoking a cigarette,
but sometimes there will be a fire.
Once you arrive on scene, make sure
there is no fire at the main alarm location, but also on the surroundings.
When ending the call (by pressing CONTROL), the company will be advice by dispatch, and the alarm
will be deactivated. You can then drive back to the station, or cruise with
your vehicle.Fire related callouts
This call is assigned to the Engine,
Rescue and ladder companies.
Fires can be in a:
- residential structure;
- commercial structure;
- subway station (smoke condition);
- vehicle ;
Longer it takes you to get on scene, higher the damages will be.
Once on scene, grab the Fire
Extinguisher or the fire hose, and start extinguish the fire, you can also
evacuate the area to prevent injuries.
Sometimes the fire will be small
and it will extinguish by itself, and sometimes it can be a serious fire,
burning and propagating to all the room and surroundings. Make sure to go in,
safe, as you can die from burn injuries.

Rescue / Hazmat related callouts
Rescue callout include M.V.A and traffic collision.
These calls are assigned to the Rescue
and Ladder Companies only, as they are the only companies carrying Jaws of
Life. The rescue company is in charge of all M.V.A happening on the north side
of the map, and the ladder company in charge of all M.V.A happening on the
south side of the map (P.S:
highways entrance and tunnels leading to a bigger chance of M.V.A to
happens).

Once on scene, take the Jaws of
Life, and extract victims if needed. Then you can start treating them using the
Victim Treatment System.
Sometimes, the car might be on
fire, you will then have to define priority and decide which action is required
to be executed first.
Once each victim has been treated and possible fire
extinguished, you can remove the involved car by using third party script. Don’t
forget to update your status as available by pressing CONTROL
